John Sosbe grew up on his family’s cattle and tobacco farm in Harrison County. He is a 2004 graduate of Harrison County High School, and a 2008 Graduate of Georgetown College where he double-majored in History and Political Science with a minor in Security Studies. John received his law degree in 2011 from the University of Kentucky. While at the University of Kentucky School of Law, John was a member of UK’s National Moot Court Team and the Evan A. Evans Competition Constitutional Law Moot Court Team. In addition to his duties with the firm, John is currently an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Georgetown College where he teaches courses in Constitutional Law and Trial Advocacy. John is married to his college sweetheart, Whitney (Duke) Sosbe, a native of Georgetown. They own a farm in Scott County. John’s practice focuses on business litigation, collections, agriculture and agribusiness law, and real estate transactions. He is admitted to practice in Kentucky, in the Eastern and Western District of Kentucky Federal Courts.
